Ametysten (the Amethyst) is an extension of Ametysten therapy, and it is a center for co-operation and growth. Here you will find therapi, workshops, open events and exciting guests from Norway and abroad. There is also the possability of renting room for therapeutic work or courses/workshops.
The subtitel, "The place for growth..", is inspired by a lyric by the Norwegian singer/songwriter Bjørn Eidsvåg; A small flag (directly translated, its in Norwegian..). His lyrics are about peace, but in my ears it became Life, Love, Wisdom, Joy, the Force and Juice of life and all the amazing things Life has to offer, as well as peace.
A person at peace with him or her self, has peace with others, and a person satisfied and happy in and with him or her self, spreads joy, tolerance and growth to his or her surrondings.
Life and the human potensial is far greater than our ability to cotain or even comprehend, and we grow as we dare surrender to that. We become greater versions of ourselves..
So, this is my little flag... This place and the work we are doing here..
I bid you welcome to widen your horizont, dive into the mysteries and land deep inside this marvelous creation that our bodies are. To experience and embrace all aspects of being human; physical, mental, emotional and spiritual - there are treasures on all levels.
I feel incredible priviliged because so many amazing people has shown interest in comming to the center and share of their insight and wisdom. There will be many strong and wonderful experiences to be had here in the time to come..
This is a place with height and width when it comes to wisdom and experiences. There are many roads to be travelled. Roads that brings different treasures and insights, and that all have something to offer people at different places in their life.

But I cannot let go of the belief
that it is wise to surrender
to something bigger than our own cynicism
discouragement can never be a friend
so I hoist a small flag

is bigger than our ability to create it

Ametysten therapy has been up and running since 1998. The goal is, and has always been, to help people to transform their limitations and inner "led", into joy, exuberance and pure GOLD.
Now I have taken a step out and created a center with the same goall, here we can work and grow through workshops, groups, open events as well as through therapy.
